

Hi, I'm Alexis Phillips!
A 29-year-old mechanical engineer passionate about sustainability and helping those in need. She earned her Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson and began her career as a Design and Quality Engineer at BorgWarner Turbochargers. She later became a Project Manager for an energy efficiency startup in New York, successfully managing a $6 million contract to green 100 multifamily buildings a year ahead of schedule. She then pursued a Master's in Renewable Energy Engineering in Barcelona and Lisbon on a full-ride scholarship, studying solar, offshore wind, fuel cells, and more. Afterward, she worked in Southeast Asia as a project manager for a solar microgrid company, electrifying rural villages. Her master's thesis focused on solar irrigation to reduce farmers' reliance on costly diesel pumps.
